What does "on-device filtering" mean for me?

It means the decision to block or allow a site is made locally on your device, not by sending your browsing to a server first. Your activity stays with you, and blocking keeps working without handing a log of your habits to anyone, including us.

What that means in practice

  • No round-trip to a server also means blocking does not break when the network is slow.
