Unlock difficulty levels

Can a friend keep me accountable?

Yes: that is the accountability partner level. You nominate a trusted person, and unblocking requires their approval. It turns quitting into a decision you have to justify to someone else, which is a far stronger deterrent than any amount of self-imposed friction.

What that means in practice

  • Choose someone who will actually ask why, not someone who will approve on reflex.
  • It is the level most often recommended for quitting a compulsion when Nuclear Mode feels too absolute.
  • Your partner approves the unlock; they do not receive a log of what you browse.
